Minett
The steel-making south, named for the red soil under it. It is the most urban and densest part of the country outside the capital, the youngest too, and the one where rents stay well below those of Luxembourg canton. Belval swapped blast furnaces for the university and research; the whole area has been a UNESCO biosphere reserve since 2020.
