🪨 Mullerthal — Little Switzerland
Mëllerdall
Luxembourg's sandstone plateau, cut by narrow gorges that earned it the nickname Little Switzerland. It is the greenest region in the country and one of the least dense; Echternach, the Grand Duchy's oldest town, is its centre. The drive to the capital runs on valley roads, longer than the distance suggests.

These regions are not administrative units and they overlap — the Nordstad sits in both the Éislek and the Guttland. The split follows the tourist regions published by Visit Luxembourg, plus the Nordstad, which is a real six-commune grouping; where an edge is fuzzy, a commune is assigned on its canton.
